What to Expect
This 9-week study invites students to explore the flood account through Scripture, historical context, and scientific observation. Each session includes guided teaching, hands-on activities, and space for questions.
The goal: help students understand what the Bible says and how it connects to the world around them.
Class Format
- Duration: 9 weeks (every Friday)
- Start Date: Friday, 06 Feb 2026
- Location: Living Word Family Church
- Materials: Provided in class
- Weekly Structure: Teaching, games, and guided discussion
Who This Class Is For
- 5th through 8th Grade students
- Students interested in the history and science connected to the flood
Optional Ark Encounter Trip
- Lodging: Hotel rooms are $530 per room for 2 nights. Families may share rooms if they’d like to lower the cost.
- Travel: Group transportation (including van rental, gas, tolls, and parking) is $140 per person.
- Admission to Ark Encounter: Adults (18+) $65, Minors (11-17) $32 , Children (10 and under) free.
- Meals: families should plan for meals and personal spending.
Trip Estimated Costs and Details

Families may join a weekend visit to the full-size Ark Encounter. This trip brings the content from class into a real, in-person experience that students and parents can share together.
